Morrish Mouse fly pattern,  is commonly used for targeting large predatory fish such as trout and bass. The design of this pattern mimics the movement of a small rodent skimming over the surface of the water, attracting aggressive strikes.

Materials used:
1. Body: The main body is constructed from *foam*, typically in black or dark grey, to create buoyancy and keep the fly floating on the surface.
2. Underbody: It appears there is deer hair (likely natural or dyed grey) used as an underlayer, creating a more lifelike profile and adding some bulk to imitate the body of a mouse.
3. Tail: A soft strip of fur or zonker strip, which resembles the tail of a mouse, adds realistic movement in the water.
4. Head: Foam segments are used at the head for flotation and durability, also contributing to a lifelike silhouette and action on the water’s surface.

This fly is ideal for skating across the surface to trigger aggressive surface strikes, particularly from large fish species.
