The Marabou Muddler Streamer is a versatile and effective fly pattern designed to imitate baitfish, sculpins, and other aquatic prey. Materials:

• Hook: 2x or 3x long streamer hook, sizes 4 to 10 (e.g., Daiichi 2220 or Tiemco 5263)
• Thread: Black or brown 6/0 or 140 denier
• Tail: Marabou, typically in natural colors such as olive, brown, orange, yellow, or black, to give the fly excellent movement
• Body: Gold or silver tinsel or Mylar for a bit of flash and attraction
• Ribbing (optional): Fine gold or silver wire for added durability
• Wing: Marabou, matching the tail, often paired with a few strands of flash material
• Collar/Head: Spun and clipped natural deer hair, forming a muddler-style head, which creates turbulence in the water and imitates the head of a sculpin
